The Opportunity
They will interact with a diverse set of suppliers and internal stakeholders from different countries, which is an excellent opportunity to build strong international communication and negotiation skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers across Eastern Europe, Baltics, and APAC to ensure smooth procurement processes.
• Negotiation:
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for the company, ensuring favorable deals that align with business goals.
• Procurement Software (e.g., Basware):
Use procurement software platforms like Basware to create, manage, and track purchase orders (POs), ensuring all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Purchase Order Management:
Ensure all purchase orders are accurate and complete, paying attention to details to avoid errors or miscalculations in the orders.
• Collaboration with Teams:
Work closely with both local and remote teams (internal stakeholders, suppliers) to coordinate procurement needs, ensuring smooth cross-regional collaboration.
Who Are We Looking For
- 3-4 year experience in procurement and who will be responsible for Eastern Europe, Baltics and APAC.
- This person needs to speak advanced English in order to communicate with all the countries.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the company
- An understanding of purchase order software platforms like Basware
- Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate
- Ability to work with a team local and from a distance
- Math skills to make sure all calculations are correct and avoid any unforeseen losses for the company
- Request quotes and Initiate RFx process
