The Opportunity

 

Ensure that the Front Office ecosystem continues to meet our clients’ requirements in terms of availability, speed, and scheme- and regulatory-compliance (typically measured by SLA).

Ensure and promote evolutions of this ecosystem, requested (changes) or not (maintenance) .

 

As a technical and application expert, identify and propose tools and methods adapted to the evolutions of application development and the applications themselves.

 

The DevOps engineer has one or more of the following skills: development, testing, operational support (Ops).

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

  • Change Management: Carry out the analysis of the need in collaboration with the requestor, define an appropriated technological solution and a detailed action plan integrated into an offer that will be submitted for validation. After validation, coordinate the different steps of the change (development, testing, Documentation, go Live, Warranty after go live) to ensure that quality, deadlines and cost are respected throughout the change process and in compliance with good practices.
  • IT Project Management Support: In the context of business projects, support the IT project manager to ensure that the technical part of the project is completed on time, on budget and to a high quality level.
  • Level 2 & 3 Support: Provide application and functional support to level 1 support teams (helpdesk) to enable them to respond effectively to operational issues and customer requests.
  • Process Compliance: To respect and enforce the company's operating rules and procedures in order to ensure the cohesion and efficiency of the work carried out by the company and its constituent parts.
  • Report To Management: Regularly reports on the progress of tasks and projects to the line manager so that he is informed of the work realized and, if necessary, adjusts priorities or take appropriate decisions in the event of deadlock.
  • Expertise: Provide support and technical expertise if requested by other teams (i.e rfp, business change, …)

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in IT (Information Technology) or equivalent.
  • DevOps application mindset with the ability to switch between Production, Development, and Testing environments.
  • Quick autonomy in the Issuing Platform (Card System Management).
  • Self-learning and team spirit.
  • Experience in DevOps Organization.
  • Experience with one or more test methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, Iterative, Spiral.
  • Knowledge of scripting SQL & PLSQL database.
  • Mastery of relational databases (SQL).
  • DevOps Skills: experience with Jira, Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Confluence, Kubernetes, Sonarqube, Angular, Python, Java & Frameworks,
  • XML technologies (XML, XSD, XSLT, XPATH), and scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Shell).
  • Working Environment: Oracle DB, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Linux, Windows Servers.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately within a team and individually, under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Problem-solving, result-oriented, and Level 2 support skills.
  • Fluent in French (speaking and written), English is a plus.
