The Opportunity
As part of a team of 20 people, your role is to design a production plan for banking or insurance application areas, monitor daily operations, and monitor and coordinate technical changes and operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Creation of SCRIPTS and JCLs and design of the application chain in the reference production plan for MVS and Unix
- Export of the whole in acceptance testing then in production; Process alert messages in production (contention, transmission).
- Ensure the smooth running of the new applications; Process requests for corrections and repairs as they occur; Rectify processing errors
- Analyze and manage production incidents, restore services in compliance with contractual commitments
- Intervene in compliance with contractual deadlines during operating incidents in order to carry out analysis, diagnosis and resolution of incidents); Write, update operating and incident resolution procedures.
- Develop and implement procedures and automations to improve the industrialization of production; Maintain applications and production plans in operational condition
- Ensure updates to applications and production plans (patching, minor upgrade, major upgrade) in accordance with the defined rules
- Measure and optimize the performance of applications and production plans; Identify risks and propose preventive measures
- Ensure administrative management of tickets in the various ticketing tools (Service Snow)
Who Are We Looking For

- 2-3+ years of experience in monitoring exploitation chains and creating scripts
- Strong motivation and curiosity to discover this field
- Previous experience with MVS, JCL, TSO, SDSF, DB2 is mandatory
- Strong knowledge with Unix, Linux and Test environment
- Fluent English and German skills
