The Opportunity

 

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting global treasury operations with a primary focus on Bank Account Management (BAM) and treasury-related reporting. This role ensures accurate oversight of bank accounts and facilities, financial P&L elements such as FX, bank interest, and bank fees as well as cash flow reporting, while partnering closely with Finance and non-finance teams across the group.

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of bank accounts within internal systems and databases, including account openings, closures, maintenance, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bank account master data, signatory records, and KYC documentation across treasury systems and internal repositories.
  • Ensure bank account data, access, and documentation comply with internal controls, treasury policies, and audit requirements.
  • Own and maintain BAM-related processes, standards, and documentation to ensure consistency across clusters and legal entities.
  • Support local and regional teams by providing guidance, data, and documentation for bank-led initiatives and account-related requests.
  • Perform periodic bank account reviews and support account rationalization initiatives to enhance governance and efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyze treasury-related P&L components, including:
  • Foreign exchange (FX) gains and losses
  • Bank interest income and expense
  • Bank fees and charges
  • Prepare and support cash flow reporting using the direct method, ensuring accurate classification of cash inflows and outflows.
  • Investigate and explain P&L variances related to FX, interest, and banking costs.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate posting and classification of treasury transactions.
  • Support treasury reporting and analysis related to overall financial performance.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control requirements related to treasury activities.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, analyses, and explanations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, reporting accuracy, data quality, and automation.
  • Assist with special projects related to banking, reporting, or treasury transformation initiatives.

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of bank account management processes and treasury controls.
  • Experience with P&L reporting related to FX, interest, and bank fees.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with Kyriba or similar Treasury Management Systems.
  • Experience working with SAP, including view rights and basic transaction exposure.
  • Exposure to global banking structures and multi-currency environments.
  • Knowledge of FX products, cash pooling structures, cash management, and related accounting treatment.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query, or other BI and data processing tools.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and data governance mindset
  • Process-driven approach with a focus on standardization and controls
  • Ability to partner effectively with Finance and non-finance stakeholders across regions
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up skills; able to coordinate information requests across multiple teams and stakeholders, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
