The Opportunity

Our division develops complex payment software systems for customers – mainly banks. This includes new features, customer specific extensions, and integration with systems of our clients and partners.

As Medior Test Analyst you are working in an Agile / Scrum and international team on successful implementation of internal and external applications requirements. You’ll be part of an API cross-functional team which is mostly responsible for the integration Layer full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. This team is really the core switch for all Worldline Applications.

For integration and acceptance tests you are continuously collaborating with our customers and clients close together with developers. You are in charge of successfully designing, executing, and documenting tests. You work in an international environment with JIRA, Confluence and Xray as key test management tools.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Review of requirements and software designs
• Design of complex test cases and test data
• Manual and automated execution of tests
• Contribute to automate what can be around testing
• Documentation of test results
• Documentation, analysis, and tracking of failures
• Collaboration in Agile / Scrum teams (SAFe)
• Contribution to continuous test process improvement
• Reading web services swagger documentation
• Authoring test cases
• Creating Postman test collection
• Constructing proper requests
• Creating and collecting proper test data
• Reading and understanding the responses
• Collecting system logs
• Investigating the cause of the errors
• Recording the results in test documentation
• Demo presentation of all tested stories
• Creation, mainenance and execution of regression test suites/collections
• Experience and knowledge with the following tools: Postman, Putty, JIRA, Confluence, Excel (a must), Newmman, Grafana, SQL Developer (will be introduced)

Who Are We Looking For

• University degree in computer science, technical or commercial subject
• Medior experience in software testing
• Experience in banking domain, preferred payments and banking,
• Experience in test automation preferred
• Experience with Agile methodology and both Scrum and DevOps frameworks
• Accurate work and documentation style
• Team player both as part of an International team (BE, DE, BG, IN and RO) and in large and distributed organization
• Good English skills required. German or French skills are an asset
