The Opportunity
The Test Automation Engineer designs, implements, and maintains automated test frameworks and suites to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across platforms. They validate functionality through automated testing and collaborate with development and product teams to establish test strategies and ensure high-quality deliveries.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks and libraries.
- Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts (UI, API, integration, performance)
- Create and maintain test data, environments, and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with developers to triage and resolve defects
- Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency through metrics and tooling
- Stay current with industry trends and tools; evaluate and recommend new automation technologies.
Who Are We Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) and experience with at least one automation framework (e.g., Robot, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium).
- Solid experience with API testing (RESTful/SOAP) and tools (Postman, REST Assured, Newman, etc.).
- Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks, data-driven testing, and test utilities.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
- Understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- 5 years of experience automation systems and related infrastructure.
- 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- Understanding of payment industry business and operations.
- Previous experience as a Full Stack SW Engineer is a plus.
