We are now seeking a Test Automation Engineer who designs, implements, and maintains automated test frameworks and suites to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across platforms, to validate functionality through automated testing and collaborate with development and product teams to establish test strategies and ensure high-quality deliveries. You will integrate into a diverse, agile, and collaborative cross-cultural team consisting of product owner, developers, and testers.

  

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

  • Analyse user stories, functional specifications, and technical requirements to create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners / Business Analyst / Developers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring testability from the outset.
  • Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks and libraries.
  • Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts (UI, API, integration, performance) for unitary, component & integration tests, for API, GUI, interfaces & Batch software.
  • Create and maintain test data, environments, and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with developers to triage and resolve defects
  • Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency through metrics and tooling
  • Stay current with industry trends and tools; evaluate and recommend new automation technologies.

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • Knowledge or willingness to learn relevant technologies and platforms related to the organization’s domain : Java, SQL, REST API, Unix/Linux.
  • Hand on experience of any designing test suits, test cases for API, GUI and Batch implementation using any automation tool. Best Preferred Robot with Python framework.
  • Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks, data-driven testing, and test utilities.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
  • Understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • 5 years of experience automation systems and related infrastructure.
  • 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • Previous experience as a Full Stack SW Engineer is a plus.
  • Payment domain knowledge is a plus : Card issuing, clearing/settlement, schemes, etc.
  • Proficiency in English is required
