The Opportunity
The Web and Batch Tester ensures the quality of web applications and batch processes by conducting functional, regression, and performance testing campaigns, thereby guaranteeing customer satisfaction and compliance with Worldline standards.
The "Carte Commerciale" platform is a mature, mission-critical application that has been serving clients for 15 years. It is continuously evolved with new features, performance enhancements, and technological upgrades to meet changing business needs and maintain industry standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans (web and batch)
- Validate functionalities according to specifications
- Verify batch processing and data consistency
- Write detailed test reports
- Identify, document, and report anomalies
- Collaborate with developers on issue resolution
- Validate fixes and verify no regressions
- Track defects to closure
- Participate in test automation initiatives
- Maintain and improve test suites
- Propose improvements to testing procedures
- Contribute to best practices
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams
- Participate in requirements definition meetings
- Engage with clients to clarify expectations
- Communicate findings to stakeholders
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Experience in functional and batch testing (minimum 2-3 years)
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+2/3) in Computer Science or equivalent
- Knowledge of testing tools (Selenium, JUnit)
- French (spoken and written) – Required
- Proficiency in web environments and batch data processing
- SQL and data query knowledge
- Understanding of software development lifecycles (V-model, Agile)
- Rigor and attention to detail
- Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Autonomy and proactivity
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Team collaboration skills
- Confirmed experience in QA field
- Interest in cloud technologies (bonus)
- Software testing certifications (ISTQB) preferred
