Job Description
Technical Writer

 Bucharest

This is Worldline.

Worldline helps businesses of all shapes and sizes to accelerate their growth journey - quickly, simply, and securely. We are the innovators at the heart of the payments technology industry, shaping how the world pays and gets paid. Our technology powers the growth of millions of businesses across 5 continents. And just as we help our customers accelerate their business, we are committed to helping our people accelerate their careers. Together, we shape the evolution.

The Opportunity

You will join the Scrum Master & Technical Writer Chapter and become part of our knowledge enablement Squad, supporting software solutions for processing electronic payments within Worldline.

Your main focus is the creation of effective learning materials and knowledge assets. You make complex products, processes, and ways of working accessible and applicable for teams across the organization. Working closely with Scrum Masters and subject matter experts, you transform expert knowledge into clear documentation and structured learning materials that support onboarding, knowledge adoption, and confident day-to-day work.

As part of the squad responsible for documentation and training topics, you help identify knowledge gaps, align content needs with stakeholders, and contribute to planning and improving documentation and learning initiatives. Through structured and user-centric information design, you create clarity, reduce knowledge barriers, and ensure that important information is easy to find, understand, and apply.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain high-quality knowledge content for products and processes, ensuring accuracy, clarity, structure, and usability
  • Review, edit, and improve documentation and training materials to ensure consistency, completeness, readability, and adherence to quality standards
  • Collect, verify, and consolidate information from multiple sources to develop reliable, well-structured knowledge assets
  • Organize and maintain knowledge content across collaborative platforms and learning systems, ensuring accessibility and up-to-date information
  • Design and develop digital training materials and e-learning modules that support effective knowledge transfer and learner engagement
  • Enhance learning and user experience by applying best practices in content structuring, interactive elements, and audience-oriented information design for primarily technical target groups

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

  • University degree in technical communication, computer science, engineering, media, or comparable field, or at least three years of relevant professional experience
  • Professional experience in technical writing, documentation, or training content creation within software development, IT services, or technical environments
  • Strong ability to understand complex technical systems and translate information into clear documentation and effective learning materials
  • Excellent writing, editing, and structuring skills with strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards
  • Independent, analytical, and well-organized working style with strong ownership, initiative, and confident collaboration across technical stakeholder groups
  • Experience working with documentation and e-learning tools such as Confluence, Articulate 360, Learning Management Systems, and similar platforms
  • Familiarity with structured content and markup languages such as DITA, XML, or basic HTML for technical documentation
