The opportunity
As a software development team, we are part of the Open Banking Department in equens Worldline.
The department is responsible for the strategic development of products and projects for cardless payment processing. This includes e.g. iDEAL payment in the Netherlands, Wero, bank-supported identity checks (Verification of Payee), Open Banking APIs according to the PSD2 directive, and electronic direct debit mandates.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Translate high level business requirements into detailed specifications that are ready for implementation, respecting the application landsacpe, non-functional requirements and the agile process.
- Ensure proper communication on detailed requirements & use-cases to the relevant stakeholders (especially towards delivery teams).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate and prioritize business requirements
- Support the QA and the run chapter with functional clarifications
- Identify service deficiencies and recommend enhancements
- Support the Product Owner in creating offers for tendered projects, roadmap planning etc.
- Maintain an up-to-date product documentation
Who are we looking for
- 5+ years working in business analysis, requirements gathering or product management in a professional environment
- Knowledge of the payment business is mandatory
- Deep experience of requirements engineering, specification and documentation in the context of agile software development teams
- Strong ability to analyze and write technical interface documents linked to REST services, e.g. Swagger definitions, YAML files or similar for the purpose of specification
- Hands-on experience in testing and product configuration is a plus
- Ability to communicate technical and business concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with capability to manage multiple complex deliverables simultaneously.
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1)
