The Opportunity
Within the Department FS/COE/BI/OS, with a team spread in Blois, Brussels, Frankfort, Luxembourg, we are searching for a motivated sysops/system engineer profile. In a Cloud context, the System Engineer role is adapted and called now SysOPS. This role is present in the entire lifecycle of any service hosted in the cloud. He is mainly responsible for deploying, managing and operating systems on the Cloud platforms.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Linux/RedHat systems in Worldline's production environment, ensuring high availability and performance in accordance with SLAs- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related issues while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs) and platform availability targets
- Perform regular system updates and patch management ensuring systems are current with latest security updates
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing, ensuring business continuity and system resilience
- Configure and optimize system automation tools and scripts to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance with PCI DSS and other relevant security standards in the Linux environment
Who Are We Looking For

- Technical expert with proven experience in systems administration, preferably in a financial services or payment processing environment
- Strong knowledge of redhat, centos systems and cloud principles and best practices.
- Experience with business continuity planning and disaster recovery procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system monitoring and optimization
- Master Degree in Computer Science or similar;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration or Linux systems or a similar role;
- Overall good communication skills, with a strong knowledge of English, written and spoken
- You are proactive and analytical, able to identify potential concerns and work out effective solutions
- Strong team player but able to take on ownership and work autonomously as well, familiar with ansible, terraform and cloud technologies
