The Opportunity

 

Are you passionate about innovative IT solutions and technological challenges? We are seeking a ServiceNow Team Lead to play a pivotal role in our ongoing strategic transformation program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our ServiceNow platform, focusing on advanced integrations, automation, and process optimization while also mentoring and guiding our junior team members.

You will:

  • Act like a local servant-lead for multi-tasking team (Business Analysts and a ServiceNow Admin/Developer) within a remote, international ITSM department.
  • Do reports to the Head of Department (International) who is also the Platform Owner for ServiceNow instances.
  • Do people management, recruitment and performance reviews, with hands-on contribution to ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, and product/needs management in an agile context.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

  • People leadership and development
  • Manage, coach, and develop a small team of Business Analysts and ServiceNow Admin/Developer
  • Set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and implement development plans
  • Recruitment and performance management
  • Contribute to recruitment activities (profiles, screening, technical and behavioral interviews)
  • Conduct regular evaluations, identify skill gaps, and drive training initiatives
  • Stakeholder engagement and user relations
  • Explicit, analyze, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements from users and partners
  • Create clear, testable user stories for developers and ServiceNow Admin
  • Help shape the product/service roadmap and prioritize backlog in an agile context
  • Act as a bridge with end users and business partners; translate needs into requirements and user stories.
  • Communicate decisions and trade-offs, and manage user expectations
  • Collaborate with developers and the ServiceNow Admin on technical aspects, integrations, and deployments

  • Proven people management experience (leadership, performance management, talent development)
  • Recruitment and evaluation experience for technical profiles (Business Analysts and ServiceNow Admin/Developers)
  • Experience in ITSM; ServiceNow or equivalent platform experience strongly preferred
  • Solid ITIL knowledge (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB)
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Good experience in ServiceNow (or equivalent) with ITSM, CMDB, and integration familiarity
  • Understanding of ITSM processes and ability to document workflows and requirements
  • Knowledge of integrations (APIs, web services) and data quality considerations for CMDB
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, estimable user stories
  • Prioritization skills based on business value, risk, and dependencies

 

Soft Skills and Leadership

  • Team-oriented, proactive, autonomous, solution oriented and service-minded
  • Strong interpersonal, active listening, diplomacy, and conflict resolution
  • Rigor, organization, prioritization, and excellent written/spoken communication
  • Languages: Proficiency in English; French is a plus

  • Capability to work across international teams and remote environments
