The opportunity
Join our dynamic 5-person team in Financial Services as a Test Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Angular-based Web GUI applications. You'll contribute to innovative solutions that power financial transactions and help shape the future of digital payments technology.
Day-to-day responsibilities
• Conduct manual testing including specification reviews, test case creation and execution, and bug tracking for Angular-based GUI applications
• Document test cases in Jira X-RAY and maintain comprehensive test documentation
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools
• Execute regression testing to ensure application stability and performance
• Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment to ensure quality deliverables
• Perform API testing using web services (SOAP/REST) and validate XML/JSON responses
Who are we looking for
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what's next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
• 4-5+ years of experience as a tester with proven track record in quality assurance
• Experience in both manual and automated testing with ability to create, execute test cases and develop automation scripts
• Good knowledge of Python and basic JavaScript skills, along with HTML/CSS/XPath for web application testing
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Robot framework for test automation
• Proficiency with testing tools including Jira, SoapUI, Postman, and experience with SOAP/REST web services
• Knowledge of pipeline on Gitlab and familiarity with Agile methodologies in collaborative development environments
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments, with ISTQB certification, SQL knowledge and banking/card management knowledge being advantageous
