The Opportunity
The role is offered within the Digital Services unit, and more specifically in the Digital Payment & Security Business entity, which designs, develops, and hosts payment and multi-channel authentication applications for large French and international accounts.
The "Trusted Authentication" project aims to develop strong authentication solutions to ensure the security of digital transactions. In a world where data security is paramount, this project is part of an approach focused on innovation and user protection.
In this context we propose a lead developer position embedded in a brand-new support team to participate from design to delivery of various patch fixes, supported by your squad lead as well as a whole project team that is yet to be built.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the development of new features and the enhancement of existing code.
- Write and execute unit, integration and functional tests to ensure the quality of developments.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve bugs and technical issues.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and code quality (Merge Requests).
- Maintain the solution (bug fixes, log analysis support, performance monitoring).
- Respond to alerts and incidents to minimize downtime and resolve issues promptly.
- Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in the code and infrastructure.
- Work on benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of existing systems.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice, this means:
- You have 10+ years of experience
- You are fluent in English
- You are skilled in back-end development
- You are skilled in Java, Spring and MySQL
- You have working experience with agile methods (Mostly SCRUMBAN…)
- You are a team player, enjoy collaborating and sharing your knowledge
- You can easily adapt to new situations, you are determined, curious and resourceful
- If you have knowledge in Python and in Robot Framework, it's a plus
