The opportunity

Established in different European countries mainly in France, the Service Center Identity Trust & Authentication (ITA) designs, implements and hosts applications of payment which are based on multi-channel of authentication methods.

You will participate in the evolution of our ACS (Access Control Server) solution.

ACS is involved throughout the payment process by offering fraud prevention modules, a wide range of strong authentication methods, as well as the implementation of the 3D-Secure protocol. With a volume of over 300 million 3D-Secure transactions per year and no less than seventy European bank customers, you will work on a product that is both mature and constantly evolving, to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Our international Chapter is managing projects for many Banks in the Benelux, DACH and Baltics. To support our deliveries, we are looking for a Product Owner coordinator.

As an experienced Product Owner, you will take on a support role towards the other Product Owners of the Product. You will act as a facilitator and coordinator, and you will foster continuous improvement and good practice among your peers.

You have experience as a business analyst.

Day-to-day responsibilities

The product owner is a key resource in our project delivery with our customers, providing a structured approach to delivery, together with the scrum team, the project managers and their counterparts at customer side.

Product Owner expectations:

• Shared direction
  • Contribute to clarifying the vision, the objectives and the priorities at product scale.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and to the input for the global roadmap.
  • Consolidate needs, risk, dependencies, and expected results to support decisions.

• Backlog coordination
  • Foster single back log management
  • Support Product Owners in aligning their priorities, identifying dependencies or synergies, and avoiding inconsistencies between perimeters.
  • Formalize product improvements and propose improvements to customer solutions.
• Coordination and facilitation
  • Organize exchanges between product Owners, Scrum Masters, the Product Team and the wider ecosystem.
  • Link with the Product Owners of the central product and help with Product definition.
  • Share good practices, support the study of complex topics, and highlight synergies between topics and Product Owners.
  • Back up a Product Owner during absences or overload periods.
• Business and governance
  • Keep a compliance focus across the product.
  • Support Business Analysts in product analysis.
  • Preparation and participation to the Business Committees.
• Value and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to defining the indicators used to evaluate results, and monitor the value produced.  
  • Ensure good practices among Product Owners and foster continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for

In practice this means:

• Engineer or Master’s degree
• In terms of skills: Organized, Communicative, Rigorous, Autonomous, Team player
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Product Owner 
• Analytical / Technical skills could be an asset 

• Experience working in AGILE SCRUM
• Business Analyst experience in financial domain
• Proficiency with ITSM tools; Jira administration is an asset.
• Fluency in English is required
• Knowledge of German is an asset.
