The Opportunity
Are you passionate about innovative IT solutions and technological challenges? We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Administrator/Developer to play a pivotal role in our ongoing strategic transformation program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our ServiceNow platform, focusing on advanced integrations, automation, and process optimization.
We are seeking an experienced Administrator/Developer with deep expertise in ITSM and CMDB. This role is essential to ensure the reliability, consistency, and scalability of data and processes across our ITSM ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on CMDB integrations, data quality, and governance
Your expertise will help accelerate the performance of our ITSM processes, while supporting and developing the skills of junior colleagues to ensure the long-term growth of the team.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
ServiceNow Platform Administration & Development
- Manage day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform (ITSM scope) including user access, security, instance configuration, branding, and performance tuning.
- Design, develop, and maintain ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, etc.) and associated workflows.
- Implement and optimize automation, scripting, and customization to meet business requirements.
- Ensure platform health, upgrade readiness, and participation in release planning and risk mitigation.
CMDB Design, Management & Data Quality
- Lead CMDB design, population, and maintenance aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Own data quality controls, governance, reconciliation, data policies, and data certification processes.
- Drive CMDB accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources (infrastructure, cloud, applications, and third-party systems).
Integrations & Data Ingestion
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow ITSM/CMDB and external systems (on-premises agents, MID Servers, cloud services, monitoring, ITOM tools, and third-party vendors).
- Develop and maintain Import Sets, Transform Maps, Business Rules, Script Includes, and REST/SOAP APIs to enable robust data ingestion.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and document integrations; collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data flows and reliability.
Data Governance, Quality & Modeling
- Champion data quality initiatives, implement data validation, reconciliation rules, and data stewardship practices.
- Apply and support the CSDM framework to ensure consistent service data modeling and usage across ITSM processes.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and DevOps teams to align data models, improve data flows, and drive platform wide improvements.
- Mentor and guide junior admins/developers; contribute to architecture decisions and best practices.
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, acceptance criteria, and operational runbooks.
Incident Response & Operational Excellence
- Respond to platform incidents with timely remediation, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
- Participate in the development of SLAs, operational dashboards, and KPI reporting for ITSM and CMDB domains.

- Proven track record of hands-on ServiceNow ITSM administration and development.
- Expert in CMDB population, maintenance, and data quality management, with strong knowledge of CSDM.
- Substantial experience with data integrations (Import Sets & Transform Maps, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server) and complex CMDB data models.
- Familiarity with discovery and/or service mapping concepts and their practical application.
- Experience with IT infrastructure concepts (servers, virtualization, networking) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, automation) and integration with ServiceNow.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
- Strong ServiceNow ITSM expertise (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge, CMDB).
- Deep experience with data integrations: Import Sets & Transform Maps, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server.
- Proven track record in CMDB population, maintenance, and data quality initiatives.
- Working knowledge of CSDM and data governance practices.
- Servicenow certifications : Certified System Administrator; Certified Application Developer
- IT infrastructure background (servers, virtualization, networking).
- Public cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with DevOps ecosystems (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, automation).
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and/or Service Mapping.
- A hands-on, results-driven mindset with a strong focus on data quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Ability to translate business requirements into robust ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB solutions.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
