The Opportunity
In this role, you will be partnering with business leaders to provide solutions to employee-related matters, maintaining a balance between being a strategic business partner and employee champion. This position will continuously challenge the status quo and develop initiatives that ensure Worldline is an employer of choice.
We are looking for someone who can think strategically about big picture business goals as well as tactically execute a full range of HR initiatives. You will serve as the primary partner to the business and the liaison with the broader HR community. Candidates for this role should be collaborative, solution-oriented, analytical, and be able to engage positively with colleagues. The role must effectively work in a fast-paced environment, bringing positive energy and enthusiasm to the team, all while showing great customer orientation. You will be providing comprehensive advice and support on employee relations issues (disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance management, redundancy, flexible working, maternity leave etc.).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and in order to carry out HR processes (promotions, transfers, job descriptions, on-boarding and off-boarding, engagement actions, structural changes and their implementation)
- Deliver the Worldline HR strategy and policies on a local level, taking into account local law and regulations together with the HR team and managers
- Advise on and implement internal development programs & specific HR policies
- Advise managers along all processes in the yearly Worldline HR and employee cycle
- Coach managers on performance and talent management, resource planning and retention, career paths, employee relation and development
- Drive and support the employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding to make the Worldline journey a positive employee experience
- Support and advise the international and country organization’s managers, employees on all Employee Relations matters, and HR policies and procedures
- Implement the annual HR processes in close collaboration with the larger HR team and business leaders
- Ensure adherence to local employment-law provisions
- Collaboration with training service providers to calibrate the proposed development programs, respectively to develop new programs, depending on internal needs.
- Support the local business in an agile and flexible way to reach its objectives.
- Support implementation of action plans further to annual employee satisfaction surveys
- Understand the business priorities to execute against the people strategy.
- Drive the HR agenda to create great a place to work and grow for our employees.
- Serve as HR advisor, coach and partner to employees and leaders.
- Partner with leaders on organizational changes, ensuring legal compliance.
- Facilitate calibration sessions, conversations, development opportunities and retention strategies for our employees.
- Support the roll out of annual global HR initiatives, projects and processes.
- Maintain a positive work environment through effective employee relations
- Develop strong working relationships and work closely with the local and international HR team to provide seamless support and guidance to the business.
- Proactively and consistently revisit the HR policies and processes with a view to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strive to provide ‘best practice’ HR advice and support, through information sharing internally and external benchmarking.
- Other responsibilities will be assigned depending on necessities
Who Are We Looking For

- University degree and 5+ years of HRBP experience up to senior executive level (must have)
- Excellent knowledge of HR processes
- Collaborative – able to partner with centers of excellence to develop and implement HR initiatives
- Ability to lead projects and change programs within your client groups and wider as required
- Demonstrate the capability to self-prioritize and manage a complex and changing workload with the ability to meet deadlines
- Agile and able to flex between input to strategic topics and delivering operationally as needed
- Excellent organization, communication skills & stakeholder management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, teamwork.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Project management and process improvement experience – nice to have
- Proficiency in English
- Microsoft Office package
