The Opportunity

Take part in developing business intelligence reports and building ETL pipelines eg. for SLA and KPI reporting. You will build high quality and maintainable ETL pipelines, implement the medallion architecture in our Databricks environment, work with basics CI/CD and Git for collaborative work and successful deployment across environments.  

We work in an Agile environment with iterative deliverables and clear deadlines. You will collaborate with a cross-functional, international team and partner with stakeholders to deliver timely, governance-aware insights.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Co-creating and designing data products that are robust, trustworthy for business and easy to maintain and develop
• Collaborating together with our technical team, business engineers, compliance experts and product owners in building cross-functional teams with a shared vision and roadmap that enable data product agility
• Deploying, monitoring, and managing pipelines and applications in production
• Build Powerbi visuals, transform data and maintain data pipelines and integrations in Databricks(ETL/ELT)
• Design and implement data models and datasets for reports, dashboards, and analytics
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security (including GDPR compliance)
• Contribute to standards and best practices for shared data platform strategy
• Support stakeholders in iterative implementation within existing infrastructure

In practice this means:

• Advanced proficiency in Python (core requirement) for data manipulation, automation, scripting, and API integration
• Advanced proficiency in SQ: proficient querying, data extraction, joins, aggregations;
• Oracle SQL & Postgres SQL: procedural programming
• Infrastructural understanding of a cloud solution and ability to establish the target architecture (Terraform, Puppet),ETL orchestration, warehousing, monitoring and alerting
• Data modelling, Data architecture;
• Understanding and experience of medallion architecture
• Modern cloud data platforms, for example Azure, Databricks and GCP
• Basic system admin knowledge of Linux, Governance, quality assurance and understanding of data regulations (PCI, GDPR)
• Experience in configuring and building S3 and SFTP filetransfer solutions
• Experience with managing and documenting data infrastructure—crucial for detail-focused communication/documentation
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tool is a plus
