The Opportunity
For our Card Scheme Management team, we are looking for an experienced person to manage our schemes compliance processes. Your expertise in the schemes and payments landscape will ensure we are best positioned to support our internal and external customers and their changing needs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and communicate relevant changes to card scheme rules and, when needed, liaise with the Card Schemes to obtain additional interpretations
- The responsibility to disclose (updated) card scheme rules to relevant internal and final clients
- Monitor implementation of mandatory requirements in collaboration with the organization
- Oversee and report scheme compliance status against relevant standards
- Maintain the Card Scheme Compliance Policy and Procedure
- Act as a subject matter expert and consultant from your area of expertise and participate
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the relevant schemes and internal stakeholders
- Identify and support initiatives aimed at increasing synergies between Worldline entities.
- Lead Customers compliance meetings where requested
- Preside the Scheme Compliance meeting
- Organize and preside monthly meetings with internal Stakeholders
- Organize and preside monthly meetings with Customers
- Assign tasks to internal stakeholders identifying mandate to apply
- Define critical topics/publications in collaboration with the team lead and team members
- Reports to management, 2 level of compliance, Customers
- Contact for schemes
- Point of contact for internal stakeholders related to Scheme topics, functional support
- Manage relationships with the schemes, service providers and internal teams to drive schemes compliance – managing risks, supporting new products and solving issues.
- Analyze and report on scheme initiatives to internal and external stakeholders – you’ll lead from article receipt to delivery, articulating impacts and opportunities, overseeing progress and reporting performance against key metrics
- Collaborate with the product management, operations and sales organizations to support the schemes and the Worldline organization with product, marketing and sales activities
- Contribute to Issuing projects in Financial Services from a Scheme Management perspective

- Proven track record in relationship management or business development, ideally in the payments or financial services industry
- You know the drill of working cross-country and -continent with cross-cultural teams
- Good organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English required (including specifically at the technical business level)
- Effective collaborator who wants to add value for the business
