The Opportunity

 

As a Business development Specialist for Worldline Financial Services, you will be a crucial member of the Business Development team, with a primary focus on generating new business opportunities for our comprehensive portfolio of state-of-the-art solutions and services. As a leading payments provider in Europe, Worldline Financial Services is perfectly positioned to expand market share in many territories.

Your responsibility will be to bring our solutions and services to European banks and Payments Service Providers PSPs and to close deals according to the targets set.

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

 

  • Initiating initial discussions with potential new customers and other stakeholders with the eco system (e.g. partners, resellers, local associations and advisors) and generate new business opportunities
  • Increase conversion of pipe: push new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails and qualify potential customers
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and set up the value proposal of Worldline, jointly with the pre-sales and product teams on a global level
  • Perform effective online or F2F demos and presentation of our value proposition to prospects
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Leading bid teams and influencing the Worldline response during tender processes
  • Collaborate with the business development team to develop strategies for reaching targets
  • Use customer relationship management software (Sales Navigator & SalesForce) to manage leads and sales activities
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.
  • Represent Worldline at Events, Conferences and Exhibitions
  • Availability for frequent travel for prospecting, events and meetings
  • Using and growing an established network in the regions allocated to enable proactive lead generation and prospecting.
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up , outbound calls and emails, joining events/conferences and generating new qualified business opportunities for our Payment solutions.
  • Conversion of leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, preparing presentations, meeting customers and making proposals towards meeting the sales target.
  • Grow and leverage relevant partner networks for extended sales reach.
  • Close the deals according to targets set.

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales in Eastern Europe and the Balkans
  • Excellent knowledge of the payments eco system is a must
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Fluent in English, Romanian and/or another Eastern European language
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
