Activity
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Creating and managing sales orders, issuing invoices, and processing credit and debit notes, including price corrections and miscellaneous adjustments.
- Distributing billing documentation to customers in a timely and accurate manner, as required.
- Performing credit risk assessments in line with internal policies and predefined approval frameworks.
- Reviewing blocked billing documents, conducting compliance checks based on established rules, and removing billing blocks where appropriate.
- Supporting Month-End and Year-End closing activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Proactively contacting customers to follow up on overdue invoices, managing collections activities, and resolving billing-related disputes.
- Identifying, proposing, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Managing queries and issues in compliance with Finance policies, SOX requirements, and internal control standards, while maintaining a strong customer service orientation toward internal and external clients.
- Adhering to monthly, quarterly, and annual activity schedules, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
- Responding to ad hoc requests from business stakeholders and providing clarification on financial or billing-related matters as required.
- Actively contributing to Finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, quality, and process standardization, in line with a Class A operational mindset.
- Supporting the transfer and transition of activities from local units, including the preparation and maintenance of detailed work instructions and process documentation.
Skills we can’t do without:
- Educational background in Economics, Accounting, or Finance
- Minimum 3-year experience in a billing & credit area
- Solid understanding of billing processes within a corporate or shared services environment.
- End-to-end knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes; additional exposure to General Ledger (GL) or other finance domains is considered an advantage.
- SAP experience, Microsoft Office - advanced
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of working in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and other reporting tools (e.g: Power BI)
- Fluent proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
