The Opportunity
In this role, you will be part of an international bid team of Worldline Financial Services
As Bid Manager, you will manage the bid process by supporting the sales team from the client request till the closing for strategic opportunities. Together with all stakeholders, you will ensure that the bid/opportunity is managed in an efficient and structured manner according to the Worldline strategy. This leading to(well-) considered bids that is proposed to the clients in time and in quality with the objective to sign new business contracts to support Worldline’s growth ambition.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- As Bid Manager, you manage the bid team and organizes contribution in an optimal way, flexibly responds to the situation at hand and provides right guidance to the team, demonstrates leadership to the team and provides direction concerning the content of the proposition
- As Bid Manager, you ensure the proposals are submitted to the customer in a time and quality manner in line with the agreed win strategy
- As Bid Manager, you ensure that the internal procedures are followed by timely & proper preparation of Internal Management reviews, solid coordination of the bid team, prepares plan & budget
- You maintain relation with all internal stakeholders & contributors to the bid throughout the opportunity cycle.
- As a bid Manager, you are part of an International Team supporting all Worldline Sales Regions.
Who Are We Looking For

- Higher Vocational Education
- Commercial/economic skills
- Payment processing knowledge
- Relevant experience 1-3 years
- English level: Business Fluent (second language is a plus)
- Personality & attitude: commercial eagerness to win deals
- A previous Presales, bid management or project management experience in the payment industry is preferred
- Good writing and presentation skills
- Critical thinking, vision to work with different partners
- Project management skills: budget, planning, risk management, internal negotiation on staffing & resources
- Time management skills: efficiency and able to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
