The Opportunity

 

 
The Accounts Payable Intern will support the AP team in processing supplier invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments. This internship provides hands-on experience in finance operations, exposure to ERP systems, and the opportunity to learn end-to-end AP processes within an international organization.

 

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

  • Assist in the review and processing of supplier invoices under the supervision of the AP team.
  • Help match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes (3-way match).
  • Support data entry and validation activities in the company’s ERP system (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Assist with vendor account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.
  • Prepare simple reports and status updates related to pending or processed invoices.
  • Communicate with suppliers or internal stakeholders to clarify invoice-related issues.
  • Help maintain accurate and organized digital documentation.
  • Participate in internal trainings, team meetings, and improvement activities.

  • Currently enrolled in university studies (Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related fields).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
  • Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
  • English – intermediate level (spoken and written).
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Curiosity and motivation to develop in a finance or operations environment.
  • Responsible, organized, and able to follow instructions.
  • Proactive attitude and desire to understand processes end-to-end.
