The Opportunity
Join Worldline's Global Compliance team as a Senior Compliance Officer-Controller, specifically within our Ethics & Anti-Corruption division. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for critical compliance matters whilst managing risk processes and ensuring robust implementation of our compliance framework across several countries.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance topics with a focus on anti-corruption, business partner screening, gifts & invitations, conflict of interests, and reporting
• Contribute to the corruption and fraud risk management process, ensuring roll-out at local level with compliance officers and contributing to the global risk map
• Execute escalated due diligences on all types of third parties and business relations
• Launch assessments to measure compliance programme implementation and ensure accurate activity reporting
• Develop and implement written processes, guidelines, and policies whilst creating training communications in local languages
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve internal controls related to prevention of corruption and fraud in cooperation with monitoring teams
• Perform analysis and follow-up on assigned compliance alerts including whistleblowing cases
• Conduct regulatory watch and assess potential impact of regulatory changes, liaising with legal and business teams
• Ensure internal and external audit recommendations related to Ethics and Anti-Corruption are implemented
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can act as an ambassador for Worldline Group’s transparent culture, balancing global standards with local context and ensuring decisions and processes are clear and explainable. In practice this means:
• Master's degree in Law or Business Administration supplemented with compliance-specific vocational training
• Comprehensive knowledge of compliance requirements, practices, and principles (EBA guidelines, Outsourcing, Human Rights, SAPIN II, UK Bribery, UK Modern Slavery, ISO37001, ISO19600)
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar compliance function with ability to work in international, fast-changing environments
• Autonomous worker, excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills with experience in promoting compliance awareness
• Strong analytical abilities with capability to present compliance assessment results to senior management
• Demonstrated high ethical standards with result-driven, proactive approach and 'can-do' attitude
• Excellent professional oral and written English skills; professional knowledge of French and other languages advantageous
• Proficiency in MS-Office with SharePoint knowledge and being confident with Artificial Intelligence being a plus
