The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and strategic Project Manager to lead the comprehensive migration from our legacy platform SIPS to the new target GoPay platform. The ideal candidate will facilitate seamless collaboration across all product teams, stakeholders, and merchant to ensure clear delivery plans, effective communication, and on-track migration progress. This role is vital in aligning technical and business teams to deliver a successful platform transition that enhances our payment services and customer experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Program Planning & Strategy:
Develop detailed project plans, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring all teams are aligned on scope, timelines, and priorities related to the migration.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
Engage with all product teams involved to identify gaps, define requirements, and confirm delivery commitments. Facilitate regular synchronization to track progress and resolve inter-team dependencies.
• Stakeholder & Communication Management:
Enable and coordinate with Go-to-Market teams to prepare for migration launch of mercahnts, ensuring clear, consistent communication internally and externally. Manage expectations and provide updates to executive leadership.
• Merchant Engagement & Migration Tracking:
Oversee merchant onboarding and migration activities, ensuring merchants are on schedule, addressing their concerns, and supporting their transition to the new platform.
• Risk & Issue Resolution:
Proactively identify potential blockers, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues promptly to keep the project on track.
• Change Management & Training:
Support effective change management initiatives, including stakeholder communication, training sessions, and documentation to facilitate smooth adoption.
• Reporting & Documentation:
Provide comprehensive status updates, dashboards, and post-migration evaluations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
