The Opportunity
Worldline is launching an 18-month digital transformation initiative aimed at enabling growth through a disruptive onboarding flow that matches the pace of our competitors, providing a unified digital experience for merchants from the point of intent to buy, throughout onboarding, and continuing throughout the merchant lifecycle. Fourteen agile squads spanning product, engineering, design and risk are delivering new self-service journeys, AI-driven risk tooling and a unified Launchpad portal. We are seeking a strategic, innovative, and results-driven Program Director to lead this transformation effort and ensure a cohesive, high-quality delivery across teams and functions.

Program & Project Management:
• Oversee program planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution throughout the 18-month transformation period.
• External supplier management: Support key discussions around resourcing, on/near/offshore, internal versus external allocations.
• Drive automation (Straight Through Processing) initiatives where possible to meet market standards, improve customer experience, and reduce costs associated with manual processing.
• Secure multi-year CAPEX/OPEX funding; re-forecast quarterly to reflect scope evolution and market dynamics.
• Track benefit KPIs (conversion lift, churn reduction, cost-to-serve, revenue uplift) and proactively course-correct
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales and support teams.
• Chair the Program Steering Committee and represent the program at Executive Committee, Board and regulator meetings
• Ensure that all stakeholders of the Customer and Digital team are aligned and delivering the required parts of the transformation (Digital Experience, Risk Solutions, CRM…).

A delightful web and mobile portal that enables self-service functionalities for increasing stickiness and revenue per merchant.
A competitive web and mobile app to rival offerings from competitors such as Mollie, Viva, and SumUp
Self-service support journeys and a web shop for up-selling and cross-selling payment products, accessories, and value-added services.
• Integrate the merchant Risk and AML requirements
Ensure end-to-end integration of monitoring systems for risk and compliance throughout the merchant journey—from onboarding to offboarding—addressing any existing backlog of due diligence.
