Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

 

As a Business Engineer, you bridge the gap between the business and technical implementation. You use combined expertise in both business and engineering to analyze complex challenges, develop innovative solutions, and drive business growth. You’ll play a key role in projects, improving processes, and ensuring that technology solutions align with business goals. 

 

  • Analysis of customer and company needs
  • Solution design for affected business applications, in cooperation with the development teams, architects and Chief Product Owner.
  • Feasibility assessment and cost analysis
  • Active steering of the implementation, jointly with the development teams
  • Supporting the launch into production of new business features
  • Acting as an interface function between product management, sales and development
  • Leading small projects

In practice this means:

 

  • Ideally some experience as a business analyst, business engineer or requirements engineer
  • Higher degree in IT, business engineering or related fields
  • Dynamic personality with can-do mentality
  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with colleagues in an international context
  • Customer-oriented personality
  • Very good proficiency in English
  • Familiar with DevOps and agile methodologies
  • Experience in the payment industry is a plus
  • Good knowledge in Confluence and Jira is a plus
  • A focus on continuous learning and development
