As an Application Tester, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and seamless performance of innovative applications used by customers worldwide. You’ll help us maintain the highest standards of excellence by executing comprehensive tests and collaborating closely with our talented teams. Whether you’re validating new functionalities or ensuring existing features remain flawless, you will be pivotal in delivering top quality in the fast-paced world of cashless payments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

You are responsible of delivering part of a transformation program by:

 

  • Understand and Analyze: Dive deep into project documents to fully grasp requirements, ensuring every test is relevant and comprehensive.
  • Test with Precision: Design and execute detailed test scripts to verify the functionality and reliability of the application.
  • Automate Testing: Implement and maintain automated tests to streamline testing processes, increase efficiency, and enhance test coverage.
  • Identify and Resolve Issues: Detect discrepancies or defects, document them thoroughly, and liaise with developers to ensure quick resolutions.
  • Support Non-Regression Testing: Conduct thorough tests to guarantee that new updates don’t impact existing functionalities, ensuring system stability.
  • Document and Maintain: Build and maintain a clear and organized reference database of tests, preparing the application for future releases.
  • Assist External Clients: Be a key point of contact for external customers during their acceptance testing phases, offering support and troubleshooting when needed.
  • Own Production Bug Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance phase by reproducing and testing bugs discovered in production systems to ensure quick fixes.

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer or Software Tester is a plus.
  • Passionate Learner: You’re excited about learning new technologies and tools, always staying on top of trends in the tech world.
  • Ownership Mentality: You’re someone who takes pride in your work, steps up to challenges, and leads by example.
  • Customer-Centric: You have an agile mindset and a natural ability to communicate clearly with customers and teams alike, ensuring their needs are met with precision.
  • Resilient & Flexible: You thrive under pressure, can manage multiple priorities, and deliver results even in fast-paced environments.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and French, and knowledge of Dutch is a nice to have.
  • Bonus Points: Experience or knowledge in cashless payment solutions would be a huge advantage.
