The Opportunity : Business Delivery Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Business Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team within Financial Services. You will report to the Head of Sales Market. This role requires a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and our clients. You will be responsible for managing service delivery, enhancing client satisfaction, and driving operational excellence in our client accounts. Your contribution will be pivotal in ensuring our clients receive outstanding service and that operational goals are met efficiently.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Client Service & Satisfaction:
- Serve as a single point of contact for clients (operational & commercial) to streamline communication and improve service delivery.
- Develop and implement communication strategies during major incidents to keep clients informed.
- Monitor and address client complaints, supporting resolution processes and managing transversal issues.
- Detect early signs of potential crises and manage escalation procedures proactively.
- Organize client meetings, prepare agenda and insights, and represent Worldline in cross-functional committees to align services with client needs.
Operational Management:
- Optimize the client portfolio and ensure the appropriate level of investments.
- Maintain close relationships with clients, understanding their operational and strategic needs.
- Coordinate and support client change requests, projects, and product evolutions.
- Lead cross-functional improvement plans, working with internal departments and clients to enhance operational performance.
- Manage service quality, measure customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Activity & Financial Management:
- Manage activity forecasts by communicating insights to sales and operational teams.
- Support the creation of offers, cross-selling opportunities, and proposals.
- Oversee cost control, monitor budgets, and assume responsibility for the P&L of individual clients or groups.
- Conduct periodic audits of services and billing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track ongoing contracts, manage overdue payments, and oversee WIP processes.
Client Transition & New Business:
- Coordinate client requests and project follow-up, ensuring timely updates in tracking dashboards.
- Support the development of new proposals, responding to tenders, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Act as a liaison for product evolution requests and internal proposals.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for motivated individuals with a big thinker’s mindset. People who are passionate, proactive, and eager to grow and take ownership. In practice, this means:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, or related fields
- 3+ years experience in client management, operational delivery, or service management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects
- Financial acumen, including P&L management and contract oversight
- Customer-focused attitude with a solution-oriented approach
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients
- Knowledge of the payments or financial services industry is a plus
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., French, Dutch, German) are advantageous
