About Financial Services Division

 

Our Financial Services division is the pan-European leader in financial processing, representing about 20% of Worldline’s total revenue. We deploy transformative payment technologies, manage risk and fraud, optimize processes, and help our clients adapt to evolving regulatory landscapes. Our solutions include card issuing platforms, payment acquiring, digital banking infrastructure, and open banking services. We partner with major financial institutions across Europe, providing innovative solutions that enhance digital banking and payment experiences.

 

The opportunity : Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst within our Financial Services division, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring our payment solutions meet and exceed customer expectations. You will work on our flagship Front-Office solution, vital to our product delivery strategy in the French market, with opportunities to contribute to ongoing operational support and issue resolution. You will report to the Chapter Lead.

 

Key Responsibilities :

 

  • Formalize and draft detailed business requirements to support payment solutions development.
  • Participate actively in refinement sessions with stakeholders, customers, and development teams.
  • Write comprehensive functional specifications translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment.
  • Support continuous improvement of delivery processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment to develop and enhance our payment offerings.
  • Monitor and support requests, minor changes, and reported issues within the product/instance scope.
  • Engage in testing phases by preparing test cases, supporting testing activities, and validating solutions.

 

Who You Are :

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience gathering and documenting detailed business requirements.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle, and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in English and French (both written and verbal).
  • Based in Blois, or Paris. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of C++ programming concepts, SQL, UNIX commands.
  • Experience working within agile environments and ceremonies.
  • Familiarity with PCI DSS standards and payment industry regulations is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the financial services or payment processing industry is advantageous.
