Job Description
Senior Consultant - Scrum Master

Senior Scrum Master

Bangalore

About Worldline

At Worldline, we are pioneers in payments technology, committed to creating innovative solutions that make financial transactions secure, accessible, and seamless worldwide. Our diverse team of professionals collaborates across cultures and disciplines, driving progress that benefits society and businesses of all sizes.

We believe that diverse perspectives fuel innovation. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals, regardless of background, identity, or experience, can thrive and contribute meaningfully to our shared vision.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Scrum Master who is passionate about building scalable, user-friendly applications. In this role, you will work with a dynamic, diverse team to develop, enhance, and maintain landing pages, web portals, and back-end services crucial to our payment solutions.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, believing that our strength lies in our diversity. Your unique perspectives will help us create innovative, inclusive digital products that serve a global community.

The Role

As we scale our cross-country squads and accelerate our DevOps transformation, we are searching for an exceptional Scrum Master who thrives as a change agent, who embody agility, drive real team growth, and believe that product value emerges from collaboration, experimentation, and empowerment.

If your background is primarily in task assignment, command-and-control delivery, or “Scrum in name only,” this role will not be a match.

Join our product area, comprising 10+ Scrum Teams working within a scaled Agile environment. You will collaborate closely with other Scrum Masters and our Release Train Engineer to guide both our teams and organization through the next steps of our Agile and DevOps transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a hands-on Scrum Master for two (and soon three) distributed Agile/DevOps squads, enabling clarity, autonomy, and ownership.
  • Facilitate all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, Retrospective) as true forums for collaboration, inspection, and adaptation—not for status updates.
  • Actively coach teams to self-organize and continuously improve, using impactful facilitation methods (e.g., Liberating Structures, Lean Coffee)—not command and control.
  • Work with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is actionable, value-focused, and understood.
  • Lead and co-create meaningful continuous improvement workshops, helping your teams turn insights into action.
  • Identify and help remove impediments, fostering a culture where teams own delivery and quality.
  • Drive and support the adoption of DevOps practices such as automation, continuous integration, and cross-functional collaboration in partnership with engineers and Product Owners.
  • Collaborate openly with other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders across global locations.
  • Coaching the team (and the organization) on Agile principles and Scrum

 Who Are We Looking For

We are searching for big thinkers who can drive positive change and embrace Worldline’s culture of innovation. Ideally, you:

  • Have expereince of 9-12Y and at least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a dedicated Scrum Master in Agile software teams (not project, delivery, or implementation management; “Scrum in name only” does not qualify).
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of facilitating measurable team improvements and coaching for higher performance.
  • A recognized Scrum Master certification (PSM II, A-CSM, or higher preferred).
  • Clear, transparent communicator comfortable in English, with sensitivity to cross-cultural teams (Europe/India).
  • Mastery in advanced facilitation and conflict resolution, empowering teams to self-organize and solve problems.
  • High energy, proactive, and autonomous with strong attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.

Why Join Us?

At Worldline, we believe that embracing diversity and promoting inclusion drive innovation and success. We foster a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to bring their authentic selves. Through extensive training, mentorship, and development programs, we support your growth and help you make a meaningful impact.

Join a global team of passionate professionals shaping the future of payments technology—where your ideas, experiences, and perspectives are appreciated and celebrated.
