Main duties
- Analyse requirements and specifications in order to determine test objectives / test cases and execute test campaigns to qualify applications and projects.
- Actively support company quality standards using predefined processes and tools.
Responsibilities
- Define test cases according to business and technical requirements
- Run test campaigns and report issues adequately. These campaigns include system integration testing, acceptance testing, operational acceptance testing (performance, maintainability, security, …).
- Work with the application development and support teams in order to solve issues that arise in test or production environments
- Apply strictly defined testing procedures, and also develop and maintain them when needed
- Use, develop and maintain testing tools
- Contribute to successful delivery of projects and enhancements;
- Support the continuous improvement process and propose your own measures.
- Actively support and participate in the implementation of Agile, DevOps and continuous integration processes
- Contribute to the definition of the test strategies
- Participate actively to the defect management meetings
Further information
- Education
- Technical degree (Bachelor, Master)/ University degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experiences/Technical skills
- Proven experience in Finance sector
- Experience in Issuing Processing Business and Card Payment Industry will be considered as an advantage
- ISTQB foundation certification
- 2-4 years' experience in testing and software development;
- SQL scripting skills
- Ability to read and use development languages: (.Net, PowerShell , JAVA and PL/SQL) would be considered as an advantage;
- Ability to work in Unix/Linux environment
- Ability to use on frequent bases SoapUI and/or Postman
- Ability to read and understand business requirements in order to create appropriate test objectives and test cases;
- Ability to build reliable regression test campaigns
- Knowledge in test automation tools & frameworks and understands the benefits of automation testing;
- Understanding or experience in Agile, Dev-Ops and continuous integration ;
- Experience in using test management/tracking tools (JIRA, xRay, ...);
- Soft skills
- Oriented towards customer needs and problem solving;
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, within a team, or on an individual basis, under pressure with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- At Least C1 level in English
- German & French would be considered as an advantage
