Profile Test Automation Expert

In General

• At least 5+ years of experience in software development
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable
• Good fundamental understanding of
  • agile practices and esp. DevOps
  • quality assurance and esp. software testing
  • Cloud Computing and containerization
  • ContinuousX
• Knowledge when to automate and when not to automate

Job Specific Skills

• Proficient in Python, or any language of choice suited for test automation
• Expertise in building fast and reliable test automation solutions
• Experience with API and UI testing, load and performance testing
• Understanding of automation approaches, esp. expertise in structured scripting (expertise with data-driven/keyword-driven testing)
• Optional: Experience in working with frameworks, i.e. django/flask for python, grafana stack for monitoring
• Interest in ML/AI with a good fundamental understanding of the abilities and risks
• Knowledge how to employ ChatGPT/GPTs to solve problems faster

Soft Skills:

• Proactive thinking accompanied by good communication skills
