The opportunity

Our Global Head of Travel is a global management role with responsibility for the design and execution of a commercial strategy. This strategy ensures that we attain our business goals in the travel sector. You're working with a team of around fifteen travel experts, and supported by regional managers in Europe, the Americas, and Asia, you will execute your sales and marketing tactical plan for our travel customers across the globe. Reporting into the VP Direct Sales, and supported by peers and sector experts in Marketing, Channel Sales, and other functional areas, the role is high profile and benefits from significant management level visibility.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • You provide leadership and guidance to the global Travel team

  • You act as a coach and develop talent within the Travel organisation

  • Establish key C-level relationships with the vertical’s top customers is your specialty

  • Deliver Revenue and Margin goals are key to your purpose

  • You set objectives and execution priorities across the vertical in close collaboration with your relevant functional co-workers, most of them are on VP level

  • You’ll provide forward-thinking initiatives to grow our presence and business in the vertical

  • You’ll support and demonstrate leadership on strategic and landmark projects

  • Report centrally to the Management Team on vertical performance and financial results

  • Manage vertical marketing and general brand awareness initiatives with the VP Global Marketing and dedicated resource
