Title: Senior Platform Owner
- Responsible for the lifecycle of the assigned platform(s).
- Research for the technologies, tools and technical solutions that are most suited for the development and improvement of our platform applications.
- Participate and apply best practices on the research, development, testing, deployment and monitoring phases of the lifecycle of the applications.
- Responsible for the orderly operation of the assigned platforms, their related initiatives and projects, and for communications between the internal teams and the platform vendors.
- Provides technical direction to team members.
- Responsible for assigned platform tasks:
- Compiling operations SLAs and performance KPls.
- Performing capacity planning when needed.
- Ensuring that high availability is achieved and maintained for the related platforms.
- Compiling the necessary scenarios and performing the related tests in order to ensure that all application changes work as intended and do not introduce regressions.
- Managing platform related deployments.
- Troubleshooting applications and infrastructure resources and devising the necessary fixes along with the application vendors.
- Managing the daily operations of the platforms.
- Providing and enriching platform technical documentation.
- Acting as an intermediate between technology partners and vendors.
Requirements:
- IT related university degree.
- At least 3 years of experience on production IT systems admin / support, in Fintech sector.
- Knowledge of the financial transaction lifecycle.
- Direct experience with financial transaction protocols used in card transactions, like ISO8583 and its flavors.
- Experience with transaction switching systems.
- Flexible with team spirit attitude

- Sense of ownership and urgency when customers (internal or external) are affected.
- Ability to work under pressure.
