The opportunity
Within the 2nd Line of Defense Compliance team, Worldline Greece (WLGR) is looking to hire a Regulatory Compliance Officer. The Regulatory Compliance Officer will report to the Chief Compliance Officer located within WLGR SA.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Act as a guardian of the global and local Regulatory Reporting process, serving as principal point of contact for all regulatory reporting matters between the operating business and the WLGR Compliance office.
- Ensure that reports are prepared and made available for submission to regulators, processed in accordance with the standards established by the Compliance office.
- Perform revisions to documentation, specifically the Compliance Control Framework.
- Conduct Regulatory Watch to monitor changes in regulation and assess the business impact of EU directives and domestic laws and attend the Regulatory monthly meeting
- Ensure that processes and procedures are effectively designed to meet regulatory requirements.
- Support and monitor compliance reporting to Bank of Greece and other regulatory bodies within the Worldline Group.
- Provide regulatory advice and support in structuring new business offerings.
Who are we looking for

- Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Compliance or equivalent experience in a regulatory function within the payment services industry (banks, payment institution, fintechs etc.).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulatory or compliance officer role within the financial sector.
- Strong knowledge of PSD2 and related EBA guidelines.
- Knowledge of MICA regulations pertaining to Crypto assets and/or a keen interest in crypto assets/blockchain as well as the willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with the card payment industry is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English both verbally and written.
- Results-driven and persistent, demonstrating a strong commitment to achieve goals.
