Cardlink, member of Worldline SA, is the largest Network Service Provider in Greece and provides fast and secure services to merchants and consumers in their day-to-day payment transactions, both in physical and electronic commerce. 

Worldline Greece is one of the largest acquiring services companies in the Greek market which was established as part of the new strategic partnership between Eurobank and Worldline.

The Opportunity

The Head of Procurement Greece leads and coordinates the purchasing activities in Worldline legal entities located in Greece, in line with the Group strategy. He/she deploys corporate policies & tools, defines local standards when needed, and shares best practices among his/her area. He/she leads the purchasing sourcing activities and leads P&L savings program to align with the define budget and secure the bridge in the P&L with his/her finance colleagues. He/she leads OWC and FCF actions to support the legal entities and Group initiatives to improve our financial performance He/she develops supplier relationship with key suppliers and leads to optimization program to secure the competitiveness of the legal entities in his/her area

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

STRATEGY & MANAGEMENT

• Adapts the group purchasing 3-5 years strategic plan to regional stakes, and leads the execution plan
• Defines objectives for his/her area in alignment with the strategic plan
• Deploys Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitoring within his/her area and coordinates the implementation of improvement action plans
• Implements Group policies and defines local policies and procedures, when applicable
• Ensures compliance with the purchasing process and standards in his/her Business Line
• Leads the identification and mitigation of major regional purchasing risks
• Contributes to translate the regional purchasing performance into financial impacts
• Conducts spend analysis for his/her Business Line
• Designs the purchasing organization within his/her area and deploys resources (people, tools, processes) to ensure alignment with the strategy
• Leads development and individual performance assessments in his/her Business Line

TRANSACTIONAL PURCHASING

• Adapts and deploys corporate framework agreements and regional contracts
• Implements A class supplier contracts and manages B class suppliers contracts in his/her Business Lines
• Ensures that needs expression is challenged (redesign to cost, functional analysis, standardization…)
• Ensures and coordinates the right execution of the transactional purchasing process
• Ensures cost efficiency for regional purchases, considering Total Cost of Ownership and risk mitigation
• Implements e-procurement tools

MARKET INTELLIGENCE

• Consolidates needs at the appropriate level (local, regional,…)
• Keeps informed on Business Line market trends (suppliers, products, customers,…)
• Supports the definition of the supplier sourcing strategy, providing information on his/her Business Line market
• Implements e-sourcing tools

• Ensures his/her area supplier portfolio update, and that stakeholders are informed
• Participates to innovative solutions programs
