The Opportunity
As a Platform Owner, you will be responsible for the lifecycle of the assigned platform, ensuring their effective operation and continuous improvement. You will research and identify the most suitable technologies and solutions for developing and enhancing our platform applications.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee the orderly operation of the assigned platforms and manage communications between internal teams and platform vendors.
- Compile operations SLAs and performance KPIs to monitor platform efficiency.
- Perform capacity planning as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain high availability for the related platforms.
- Develop test scenarios and conduct unit tests to validate application changes and prevent regressions.
- Manage platform-related deployments and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure resources.
- Provide and enhance technical documentation for the platforms.
- Act as a liaison between technology partners and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration with horizontal peers.
- Participate in projects as a team member or lead projects as an accountable owner, contributing time, skills, and knowledge.
