The Opportunity

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve incidents, problems and changes;
- Analyze technical incidents and involve 3rd level support if needed
- Manage ITIL processes and monitor applications;
- Implement monitoring for production environments
- Maintain intricate knowledge of the entire SEPA processing and Instant Payment processing chain, i.e., having an end to end view;
- Quickly and accurately determine impact in case of incidents;
- Estimate resolution times in case of high level incidents;
- Establish counter measures in case of incidents;
- Initiate improvement plans and prevention of problems;
- Contribute to the introduction of new products;
- Coordinate and handle service requests
- Cover 24/7-standby together with the team (once each second month / in a later stage)
Who Are We Looking For

- Ability to work and communicate in an international and multi-cultural environment;
- Strong interest in supporting and maintaining complex issues
- Experience with scripting, SQL, UNIX, LINUX, Oracle databases
- High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail;
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a complex global organization;
- Acquire new competencies and accept new challenges;
- Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities;
- ITIL certification and knowledge of XML/XSD, SEPA is an advantage
- Proficiency in English and German is mandatory
