The Opportunity

 

You can expect an exciting task as Application Manager (m/f/d) – Linux and Cloud-Based at the Frankfurt am Main location: We operate sophisticated systems that function around the clock and thus ensure that the associated payment transaction processing between cardholders, banks and merchants takes place efficiently and on time.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

  • Take over second level support in the area of Issuing Application Support.
  • Support the ongoing operation of existing applications and actively participate in their further development through migrations and changes.
  • Conduct incident and problem management in accordance with ITIL standards.
  • Prepare and maintain the required operating documentation.
  • Implement monitoring solutions and act as the main contact person for internal colleagues regarding questions about the applications within your scope.
  • Identify and implement measures and procedures to ensure performance and availability.

Second Level Support: Provide support for troubleshooting and maintenance of Linux- and cloud-based applications, particularly in the area of Issuing Application Support.

Operational Support: Assist in the ongoing operation of existing applications and participate in their further development through migrations and changes.

Incident and Problem Management: Conduct incident and problem management in accordance with ITIL standards.

Documentation: Create and maintain the necessary operational documentation.

Monitoring: Implement monitoring solutions and serve as the main point of contact for internal colleagues regarding application-related inquiries.

Project Work: Contribute to projects aimed at introducing new applications into production.

Performance Measures: Identify and implement measures to ensure the performance and availability of applications.
