The opportunity

As AML Analyst, you play a crucial role in ensuring that Worldine does not do business with any unlawful or fraudulent clients. You are also responsible to protect the company’s reputation and ensure we are not involved in any money laundering or other unlawful activities. As if you are a true detective/investigator, you conduct thorough research using external tools and sources. You will analyse KYC (Know Your Customer) and unearth all and any information that indicates that something is not adhering to the law, our policies, or the policies of our acquirers.   

In this role you report directly to the Team lead of Investigations.


About the team


Within the AML Team, the AML analyst plays an important role to provide oversight of the existing Merchant portfolio. The team is mainly located in The Netherlands; however, our stakeholders are all over the world. We are all hard-working, knowledgeable, dedicated, experienced, and fun individuals who look forward to having you on board and helping you to get up to speed. Your day-to-day responsibilities include

  • Daily monitoring of existing merchant portfolio via external tools such as Owlin, Webshield and ComCat.
  • Conduct reviews on existing merchants whereby specifically is looked at business models, business practices and liability period for both new-, as well as existing merchants.
  • During reviews, ensure the merchant complies with Worldline’s policies and that of its acquirers.
  • Work directly with the Sales Team to complete Merchant files and resolve potential (Compliance) issues proactively.
  • Maintain and update data in databases to keep high standard level of monitoring.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Credit and Sales Team when reviewing Merchants or working on specific requests.
  • Support the Investigations Managers with new business reviews if needed.


Skills we can't do without:

  • University degree in appropriate field of study.
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in CDD, KYC management and underwritings.
  • Great affinity with IT and IT-related projects and e-Commerce
  • Excellent Business English and verbal skills.

  • Customer orientation/organisation awareness.
  • Excellent Business Dutch and verbal skills is a big advantage.
  • Knowledge of WWFT.


For this position we cannot consider relocation. The person needs to be based in the Netherlands.
