Within the advanced infrastructure, your mission as sysadmin engineer in the SRE teams will be to enforce the scalability, speed, efficiency and the infrastructure reliability, as a result of owning the services design, implementation and maintenance.
Under the guidance of the SRE manager, your primary role is doing engineering on software and systems to build at a scalable and automated infrastructure and fault tolerance PaaS.
What you’ll do:
Infrastructures services are managed by multiple teams, you will join one of these teams with today's focus on:
- Integration of AWS services in our global automation pipeline.
- Support business lines to migrate their current solution in our brand new Infra with code, automation and CICD.
- Package management as a service (artifactory platform).
- Job scheduler as a service (rundeck).
- Develop new infra services to improve Ingenico's velocity and innovation.
- Manage, innovate, and create Infrastructures services and tooling that continuously improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
- Work cross-functionally to build fast, reliable, and resilient production systems.
- Develop, configure and enhance our automation stack and our CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop our cloud usage/offering where it make sense.
- Create Documentation that every collaborator can use, improve and share.
- Daily operational tasks (change management, application monitoring, application deployment, ...).
- Secure our services, obviously in the payment industry security is must and should be taken into account from the very beginning.
Who you are:
- Academic or Bachelor level of education or equivalent by experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Linux experience in a HA environment.
- Self-starter, autonomous.
- Comfortable in development/programming skills.
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels in the organization.
- Ability to make your way through a complex automation stack autonomously.
- Automation is your answer to (almost) everything.
- Security minded.
- Flexible (24/7 oncall once a month, out of business hours interventions)

Must have:
- Excellent knowledge of Red Hat / CentOS Linux.
- Used to work with source version control like Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, GIT flows and CICD.
- Used to work with Puppet (we do everything with puppet).
- Used to work with Terraform (we aim that all pieces of infra is defined with code).
- Knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB or High Availability DB solutions.
- Knowledge of Scripting (bash, python, ruby,...).
- Understanding of network protocol (IP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, Load balancing,...).
- Experience with multi DC setup (multi AZ and multi Region).
- Experience with hybrid infra (On prem + cloud).
- Experience with AWS (VPC, SecurityGroup, S3, Cloudfront, Route53, Workspace, ...).
- Experience with security standards (PCI-DSS,...).
- Focus on automation.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with prometheus, grafana, loki, ELK,..
- Experience with Hashicorp Vault.
- Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience in Nosql.
- Experience in Message Bus systems is nice to have (rabbitmq/activemq/....).
- Knowledge in Rundeck, Jfrog Artifactory, Java,...
- Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French are a plus.
- Familiar with service discovery in a micro-frontend architecture.
