As a Network Reliability Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our Network Services are designed, deployed, and operated at scale, with high availability and performance, according to SRE philosophy that we implement to Network field. Reliability, Innovation, expertise, scalability, agility will be your drivers.
What you’ll do:
- Develop new shared services to improve Worldline’s velocity and innovation.
- Integrate community products in our ecosystem.
- Develop your own tooling, with either simple scripting or advanced programming language.
- Collaborate and share with all our stakeholders in the organization.
- Support business lines to migrate their current solution in our brand new Infra with code, automation and CICD.
- Manage, innovate, and create Shared services and tooling that continuously improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Worldline.
- Work cross-functionally to build fast, reliable, and resilient production systems.
- Develop, configure and enhance our automation stack and our CI/CD pipelines.
- Create Documentation that every collaborator can use, improve and share. Technical documentation and user documentation.
- Daily operational tasks (change management, application monitoring, application deployment, ...).
- Secure our services, obviously in the payment industry security is must and should be taken into account from the very beginning.
Who you are:
- Academic or Bachelor level of education or equivalent by experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Network & automation experience in a HA environment.
- Autonomous and fast learner.
- Comfortable in development/programming skills.
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels in the organization.
- Ability to make your way through a complex automation stack autonomously.
- Automation is your answer to (almost) everything.
- Security minded.
- Ability to find trade of in:
o stability vs. agility.
o operational work vs. software engineering.
o proactive vs. reactive work.
Must have:
- Experienced in Network protocols and standards (TCP/IP, BGP, VPN, DNS, Firewall, Load-Balancer)
- Management and expertise on Security devices (F5, IDS, SaaS solutions, public cloud, PKI, TLS)
- Management of security policies, TSL profiles & PKI technologies
- Technology expertise on last CVE – vulnerabilities
- Scanning tools : sslscan, Owasp zap, qualys.
- Comfortable with Linux ( Red Hat / CentOS )
- Used to work with source version control like Git, GitLab, , GIT flows and CICD
- Used to work in automation based on Source Of Truth (Netbox, Nautobot)
- Used to work with Terraform (we aim that all pieces of infra is defined with code)
- Experienced with Scripting (bash, python, ruby, ansible, CICD)
- Comfortable with hybrid infra (On prem + cloud)
- Comfortable with cloud solutions and mindset (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform)
- Experience with security standards (PCI-DSS,...)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge and understanding on HTTP, applicative flows debug
- Prior experience as an NRE or in a similar operational role mixing Network and automation
- Certifications in cloud provider technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, PagerDuty, New Relic, etc.).
- Understanding of compliance and security best practices in a cloud environment.
