The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Junior Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in optimizing scheme fee recovery and avoidance across our business. You will leverage your expertise in financial analysis to ensure accurate invoicing, provide valuable insights to stakeholders, and drive significant cost savings.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

Optimization:

• Continuously monitor and analyze scheme fees for non-compliant transactions.
• Implement corrective actions and drive merchant recovery to minimize non-compliance costs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scheme fee recovery and avoidance.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

• Conduct in-depth data analysis of scheme invoices to ensure accuracy and identify trends.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports on scheme fee performance.
• Cooperate and align with the Finance department on accurate accrual estimates and scheme cost splits and quarterly reinvoicing for intercompany bookings.

Process improvement:

• Support initiatives to investigate, plan and implement process improvements.
• Drive full alignment with the other departments on delivery of changes and processes improvements.
• Identifying and resolving issues in collaboration with the CRM team.

Who Are We Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in financial and or data analysis, with Bachelor's Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Experience in management reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
