Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Process daily bank transactions
- Daily reconciliation of all bank statements processed and control that all unallocated bank transactions are booked on the adequate accounts, with the accurate accounting parameters
- Resolves unallocated bank transactions and clarifies questions with operating department; follow up on unallocated bank transactions with finance and any other departments.
- Daily reconciliation of dedicated GL accounts.
- Preparing schedules for upcoming payments based on terms, due dates, and cash flow considerations.
- Issuing manual payments via internal tool
- Perform the payments reconciliation on a daily basis / communicated frequency
- Perform the daily / weekly / monthly clearing on the assigned accounts
- Perform the journal entries related to cash transactions
- Ensure that transitory bank accounts have 0 balance at end of the month
- Perform monthly GL accounts reconciliations and ensure that the bank accounts are fully allocated and reconciled on WD+1
- Upload the monthly reconciliations in the assigned tool within the communicated deadline
- Perform monthly internal controls reconciliations
- Responsible for maintaining the cash reporting check files and perform continuous improvement
- Manage the preparation and reporting of cash transactions, and consolidation
- Immediately raise any possible risk related to the bank accounts, and cash activity in general
- Build strong professional relationship and excellent collaboration with the local Business Units.
- Propose and implement necessary enhancements to ensure business excellence while reaching service level agreements.
- Handle the queries/issues in accordance with Finance policies
- Respect the monthly/quarterly/annual activity schedule with accuracy and integrity checks.
- Month-End and Year-End closing processes.
- Actively involved in Finance projects & initiatives related to activity efficiency and quality improvement.
Who Are We Looking For
- Educational background in Economics, Accounting, or Finance
- Min 2-year experience in a shared service center environment, accounting or financial area
- Analytic skills proven during past professional experiences (such as building and leveraging finance information). Capacity to analyze data, resolve discrepancies, and perform account reconciliations.
- Quickly identify issues such as duplicate payments or discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple payments simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently & collaboratively, open-minded and proactive attitude
- Knowledge of Compliance and Controls: Understanding of internal controls, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements related to payments.
- Clear written and verbal communication to liaise with customers, vendors and internal departments
- Knowledge of working in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and CODA (would be a plus)
- Language capabilities: English (fluent), -to be adapted based on business needs-
