Working student (m/w/d) Test Automation

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

  • Part of an international team responsible for the continuous testing of Open Banking services and assets
  • Develop and extend test automation frameworks in order to secure and improve operational stability and efficiency.
  • Specify, enhance and execute test scenarios
  • Analyze application and framework issues in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Raise bug and improvement requests containing a detailed defect/change description and an appropriate priority classification.
  • Continuous optimization, improvement and evolution of services in close coordination with development, operations and product management

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • Student in IT, mathematics or physics
  • Programming experience is essential with core Java in best case
  • Any experience of working on Linux based systems and writing shell scripts appreciated.
  • Any prior experience with web-drivers/selenium, postman or similar testing tools would be helpful.
  • Optionally:
      • DevOps and automation experience
      • Basic knowledge of Gitlab and version control
      • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
      • Basic understanding of software development and testing processes
      • Familiarity with REST-based services and knowledge of the underlying API principles/formats: XML, JSON
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Very good team player and ability to communicate internally.
  • Good written and spoken English.
