Working Student (m/f/d) C++ Developer

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated working student with a focus on C++ Backend Development at our Aachen site. This part-time role (15-20 hours per week) provides a great opportunity to actively contribute to our Front Office Development team for mobility solutions.

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

  • Develop software for processing electronic payments
  • Coordinate and plan coding activities with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and fellow Developers
  • Write and implement efficient and high-quality code
  • Design, develop and execute unit test cases
  • Plan, organize and perform code reviews and quality controls on the delivered software packages
  • Document all aspects of software, for ongoing maintenance and revisions

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • Ongoing university degree program in computer science or engineering, preferably at the master's level; bachelor's degree completed or nearing completion
  • 0-1 year professional work experience in software development
  • Knowledge of Object Orientated Programming in C++
  • Knowledge of Software Design patterns
  • Knowledge of Relational databases (Oracle, Postgres), SQL and Data Model development
  • Knowledge of Docker, GIT and UNIX with Continuous Development and its CI/CD practices
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Experience with JIRA tool
  • Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
  • Good analytical skills and problem solving attitude, strong sense for curiosity and proactivity
  • Enthusiastic to work in an international, scaled agile team of experts in daily cooperation
