In the field of authorization within equensWorldline in our Department Authorisation and Switching, we are looking for an Software Architect/Senior Developer (m/f/d).

 

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

 

  • Design and build of authorization solutions based on our product Worldline Pay Front Office (WLP-FO)
  • Contribute to the development of the Product Strategy and Product Roadmap
  • Analysis of functional and non-functional requirements and their translation into design and solution specification (including prototyping)
  • Review of design documents and implemented source code
  • Promotor of refactoring to prevent aging, to fight technical debt and to simplify/enable automated testing
  • Advise and guide on design and implementation best practices on WLP FO for development and service delivery teams
  • Presales support during offer process on solution architecture and effort estimation (may include customer visits)
  • Exchange and collaboration with domain/solution architects, analysts, product management and operations people across division/department and country boundaries

 

 

Skills we can’t do without:

 

  • University degree (master / bachelor) in computer science or engineering
  • Work experience in IT services and software development, preferred in the area of electronic payment
  • Applied knowledge and experience in object orientated programming in C++ and Java
  • Applied Knowledge and experience with relational databases, SQL and data model development
  • Applied knowledge and experience with cloud technologies
  • Analytical procedure and abstraction
  • Very good knowledge of English is mandatory, both spoken and written.
  • High motivation and efficiency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong sense for curiosity, proactivity, flexibility, accountability
  • Strong teamplayer able to interact closely with, both internal and external clients; external suppliers and  colleagues in a multicultural environment.  

 

 

Skills we’d like:

 

  • Ability to operate in an advanced technically and fast-changing environment;
  • Knowledge of other European languages like German; French; Italian or Dutch
  • Experience in C++ and SQL
  • Knowledge on DevOps practices
  • An enthusiastic team player who shares knowledge – but also able to work independently
