Worldline TSS helps its clients and partners deliver state-of-the-art payment solutions to their merchant customers. A key part of the TSS GBL’s strategic transformation is the build-up and delivery of a world-class, cloud-based Payments Platform as a Service (PPaaS) that empowers our ecosystem of clients and partners to offer their merchant customers state-of-the-art payment and commerce solutions available anytime, anywhere. To support this strategy, we are looking for a motivated Senior Product Manager Payment Services to help us develop the next-generation omnichannel payment platform.


Your role will focus on defining and driving the development of payment services including in-store and online payment, Alternative Payment Methods and Buy Now Pay Later solutions. This position is based in Paris.

Your mission is to define the product strategy and roadmap priorities of the payment services in line with the business expectations. As such, you are responsible for your product area, product life cycle, profitability, understanding and analysing the market and the competition. You manage stakeholders throughout the organization.


Key Responsibilities


Reporting to Worldline TSS, Head of Product, PPaaS, you will :


  • Building and running a product roadmap, working closely with other Product Managers and stakeholders to deliver business benefit
  • Manage at least one Product Manager
  • Manage timely execution of pilots, and collaborate with the project team to ensure progress and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Marketing & Sales organization to develop product content on the payment services
  • Driving a product forwards with a strategic vision, using agile methodology where possible
  • Building payment apps to industry certification standards and compliance with global and local security standards
  • Providing internal stakeholders with a clear strategy to follow, in collaboration with other Product Managers
  • Collect and analyse customers’ and business owners’ pains and feedbacks (i.e. Marketing & Sales, Strategy, Partnerships teams), and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Create business initiatives, based on your strategic understanding and vision of the market
  • Support the Product Owner in translating payment features into detailed requirements, to get them prioritized into the development backlog.
  • Support the technology teams during the developmet cycle following the SAFe framework
  • Work closely with UX/UI Designers to test and define compelling customer and end user experiences when using the payment services
  • Make and own the business case for new features to be implemented and act as gatekeeper for request
  • Support the execution of sales process (communication, documentation, training). This includes the production of content and the support of this organization to ensure the good positioning and promotion of the payment service
  • Ensure the pricing is constructed with the support of the Marketing and the Pricing team
  • Participate in customer meetings as subject matter expert


Your Qualifications


As the ideal candidate, we expect you to have:

  • A degree or master’s in engineering and/or science/economics
  • 8 years at least of experience as Product Manager in a payment company or fintech
  • A customer-centric approach
  • Knowledge of the Payment ecosystem
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Project management skills
  • Interest in working in technological environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A strong team player and contributor to the success of the team, with a “can do” attitude
  • You must be fluent in English
