The Financial Data Services (FDS) department, part of Financial Services/Digital Services division of Worldline provides data integration services in an Application Service Provider (ASP) mode for banking, fund administration and insurance.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• You participate in the development and implementation of Web User Interfaces & Web Services.
• You participate in the development and implementation of PL/SQL packages
• You develop design and technical specifications
• You ensure applications are delivered according to project timelines
• You write and conduct unit and integration tests
• You ensure that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented practices, and performance
• You describe and write technical specifications
• You gather information from different stakeholders in order to have a well analysis for the development/support
• You participate in requirements, architecture, and design meetings

Skills we can’t do without:

• Core Java: Java EE, Java Database Connectivity (JDBC);
• Database: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 12, SQL Developer;
• Web services technologies: XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL;
• Application Servers: Wildfly;
• Testing Tools: JUnit;
• Archiving Tools: SVN, Tortoise SVN;
• Release Tools: Maven, Jenkins, Nexus;

Skills we’d like:

• ORM Frameworks: Hibernate, Java Persistence API (JPA);
• Web Application Development Frameworks: Spring, Spring security, JSP, Bootstrap;
• Other: Birt PDF, UML, LINUX, Perl, Python, SonarQube;
• Basic knowledge of the financial data providers (i.e. Six Financial information, Bloomberg, Reuters, WM data, Interactive data) is an asset;
• Analytical, conceptual reasoning  and modelling skills;
• Ability to work quickly and accurately, on a team or individual basis;
• Attentive to details and process oriented;
• Demonstrates flexibility in handling work;
• Shares knowledge;
• Fluent in French and English or German and English (both oral and written).
